Firsts XV and Youth slump to defeat

Despite a good defensive effort and good performances from Sam Llewellyn and Huw Thomas, the Dairymen came unstuck this weekend against local rivals Bridgend Athletic who won the game 28-14.

Next week, we face Llantrisant at the Dairyfield in another important clash.  Speaking after the game, coach Kevin Jones said "Whilst there is some work to be done in the week, the friendly gave the lads a chance to try a few things we've been working on recently and as always we can't fault the commitment.  Next week is another big game and after a poor performance the last time we faced Llantrisant, it's important that we put things right and put in a winming performance."

Our Youth were also in action this weekend at home against Cardiff outfit, Llandaff, playing some good rugby but ultimately it was the visitors took the spoils, outscoring the young Dairymen 12 - 24.
