Two Llanharan products helped make history last night at the Gnoll, Neath. Kieran Martin and Ross Pritchard, both sons of former Llanharan players, played for Crawshays Welsh in a game against Hong Kong. Both players started on the bench but made it on to the field in the second half, with Kieran Martin scoring a try. Hong Kong were using the game as a warm up before playing their World Cup qualifying matches. Hong Kong ran out eventual winners by 35 points to 24. Now for the history bit! This was the first time the renowned Crawshays Welsh team had played an international team on home turf. Congratulations to both players and i hope you kept your jerseys for the club trophy cabinet.
