There could be nothing more emphatic than this eleven tries demolition of the Old Boys who were often outclassed despite no shortage of effort.
Codey Rees amassed an amazing 32 points with the conversion of all eleven tries including two of his own.
Others to cross the line were Paul Adams adding another four to the 16 he picked up in the league, Glen Holloway, Mathew Taylor, Harley Thomson, a penalty try and one which drew a special cheer for skipper Gareth Edwards who capped his seventh year as skipper by collecting the trophy at the end of a fine season.
The selection also gave the coaches another chance to look at several promising players.
