Kiera-Leigh Jones

Writer's picture: KipKip

After taking up Rugby only 2 years ago, Kiera has at the age of 16 been selected for the Cardiff Regional team. She plays for Cardiff Quins and also coaches Pontyclun Falcons U16s. Her family are steeped in Llanharan RFC, with her father Greg Jones playing over 400 games for the Club at scrum half during the 90's. Not only that but her Grandfather John Hardman also played more than 400 games for Llanharan as a prop in the 70's. Kiera is following in her Grandfather's footsteps by also playing prop.

The photos below were taken at Sunday's game in Colwyn Bay, against the Ospreys, which Cardiff won 24-14. There's a familiar face in the other photo with Kiera and Gareth"Flumpy" Worgan, who is the Cardiff U18s Girls Regional Manager.
