Llanharan under 10’s end of season report & thanks.
On Sunday the Under 10’s played their last games of the season at Pencoed Tournament. The whole squad put in a fantastic effort to finish the day 5 wins from 5.
This was the icing on the cake for what has been a wonderful season for the team.
In a season oh highs there are a few stand out moments. Firstly, winning the top competition on tour against some fearsome opposition, with young Dewi Thomas scoring in the corner in the last play of the last game to secure us top spot!
We were also able to put some ghosts to rest this year, with highly impressive wins over some of our local rivals for the very first time.
The most impressive achievements this year however are not measured by points and trophies. But in something much more difficult to quantify. As a coaching staff we are so proud of how they have developed as rugby players. Their attitude and commitment has been first class and over the year the bonds between the boys have strengthened both on and off the field.
We, as coaches, would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the parents and supporters who get up on the cold, wet, early Sunday mornings. Without your support none of this would be possible.
We are always looking to expand and grow, so if your child will be year 6 next year, and would like to give rugby a try, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Finally, we would just like to wish Cooper a speedy recovery, after suffering a broken knee in the Pencoed tournament. Get well soon Coops!
Diolch,
Lee, Lloyd and Aide 🖤💙
