Llanharan opened the scoring with a try from Ieuan Thomas converted by Ajay Lewis but Penarth came back with a try and conversion of their own. Llanharan bounced back with a try from Dan Davies which went unconverted. Score 12-7 to Llanharan Youth. Penarth scored another try just before half time to make the half time score 12-12.
After half time Penarth started to look threatening and went ahead with a try and conversion to make the score 17-12 to Penarth. Penarth then added another try and conversion to make the score 22-12 to the away side. Another try and conversion from Penarth secured the game for them.
