Match Report CRCC

Here is Gareth's latest match report. Sorry for the delay but i have been in Scotland for a few days.

CRCC - MATCH REPORT – 25/03/23

This game was a banana skin waiting to happen and much credit must go to this current crop of dairymen, who strangled the life out of the stubborn, Pontcanna based group of Welsh speakers.

The concern and general wariness regarding the game was compounded by the fact that CRCC fielded a player who was the double of Geoffrey Dahmer, topped off with a 1970s page boy haircut. C’mon dude, your mother shouldn’t be cutting your hair at you age (unless you want to be living with your parents at 45).

Though I do not want to ruin the tension and spoil the surprise, Llanharan came away from the capitol with a bonus point win. This keeps us on the course for promotion and the league title, but we cannot even begin to come up with a formula to find out the size of a flock of poultry. If you look on the WRU website, it shows us in second place, 3 points behind Penarth, with a game in hand.

There were four spectacular tries scored by the dairymen, the first was scored by part time member of the Yakusa and man with no verbal filter, Ross Pritchard, son of cushion magnate, Donna “the Kebab” Pritchard.

The second try was the result of relentless and suffocating defensve pressure. The ball finally ended up in the hands of Jack Thomson, who set off for the opposition try line, similar to a small child at Christmas being told to stop playing with his new toys and come in for dinner.

The third try was scored by vice captain Ieuan Pring, who is a very difficult player to stop when picking up from the back of a scrum. He has finely honed his skills by shoplifting and doing “runners” from restaurants.

The final try was scored by the player voted most annoying person of

Restricted growth, in the greater Llanharan area. This was his third victory in this hotly contested competition. His general aggressive facial expressions, ability to create new methods of cursing and overall unpleasantness are all taken into, account when deciding the finalists.

The extra points were scored by the ever reliable “Son of Kev” and born again narcissist Scott Jones. As well as keeping the scoreboard ticking along, his general management of the game and conditions was outstanding.

April is going to be a tough month to manage, with 8 games during the 4th month and also without having Andy Price to lean on. He has enough on his plate trying to manage Esther, the mad woman who wants to fight opposition players while they are still playing. Good luck Andy. She looks a handfull
