Not a Throw Back this one, just a reminder of how good a player Club Legend Trevor Worgan was. The photo shows the Cardiff Team who played against the Australians, not sure what year. I can count 11 Welsh Internationals, including Gerald Davies, Terry Holmes, Alan Phillips and Brynmor Williams. If you can spot more, let us know. An interesting figure on the far right of the photo, sitting down, is Danny Wilson, who is Ryan Giggs father. He was a very quick Outside Half, who eventually went North to Rugby League.
Also in the photo is PL Jones, far right of the photo, sitting down. Lyn was a winger, who to say he was hard to stop was an understatement. His grandson is Morgan Jones, who plays in the centre for us.
We were very lucky as a Club in the 70's and 80's to have Trevor playing for us as well during this period, as can be seen by the quality of players he played with at Cardiff RFC.
